In My Mailbox #6

Hey!

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie.
I had a pretty good week - at least book-wise, so here's what I got:

  • Bought:
I respected my book buying ban for almost 2 weeks. That's too much already, so this week I ordered a few books (will post them as soon as I get them in the mail) and I bought some eBooks:

This book seems pretty awesome! I'm already a few pages into it and I love it so far! (Thanks Rachel @ Fiktshun for the recommendation!) Oh, and the author is uber cool!:)

I'm not a big fan of the cover, but the story sounds interesting enough!

OMG! Finally! Do you have any idea how long I've been wanting to read this?! And how frustrating it was to know the author was Romanian and the book was only available in the US?! The Book Depository (that's where I order my books from) didn't even have it and I'm still not on good terms with Amazon, so I just couldn't get it. But now... Thanks God for Smashwords! LOL Anyway, the story sounds really fun and... don't you think the cover is super cute? I still want the actual book, but the ebook will do for now. /end of rambling

I love books inspired by Greek mythology and I've been very curious about this one, so I got it as soon as I read positive reviews about it from bloggers I trust!

  • Borrowed:

I've heard mixed things about this one and I'm not sure it's worth my money (it's big and pretty expensive), but I'll give it a try! At least the narrator's voice is nice!LOL

  • Won:

Thank you Amber @ AwesomeSauce Book Club! You're the best!
(I've got books from her before hehe)

Swag from Kiki Hamilton (author of The Faerie Ring) -
Thank you Kiki! I love it!

  • RAK

WOW! This one has been on my wishlist since...forever! And finally, someone found it in their heart to give me the chance to read it!LOL Thank you, Emma @ BelleBooks!!!

  • For review:

Yay! I can't wait for the blog tour!

via LibraryThing Member's Giveaway - they both sound pretty interesting

via NetGalley
 Thank you all!
(I'm a little worried about this list... I should get better at multitasking STAT!)

And, as I said, it's been a good week - I've also won a few books but I'll share them only after I actually receive them. My books tend to get lost in the mail... Especially the signed and personalized ones! *sob*

I hope you guys had a great book week as well! Let me know what did you get in your mailbox!;)
xoxo

  3. You did pretty good! I loved Dark Descendant! Hope you do too! Greek mythology is getting pretty popular today and I'm loving that!

Read The Neon Graveyard via NetGalley as well and it was an amazing end to an amazing series! Loved it!

I won a copy of Deadworld some time ago, but haven't gotten it yet. I might need to contact the author soon...

Still can't decide if I want to read The Iron Thorn or not so I will look for your review since I heard mixed things as well!
